1. Who we are

MatnlaAI is a mobile app (Android and iOS) that generates subtitles for your videos with AI and lets you style and export them. This policy explains what data the app and this website process. Contact: support@matnlaai.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — when you sign in with Google or Apple we receive your name, email address, profile picture and the provider's account identifier.
  • Audio for transcription — to generate subtitles the app extracts the audio track of the video you choose and uploads it to our server. Your video file itself stays on your device; it is never uploaded.
  • Subtitles and project data — the generated text, timings, language and styling of your projects.
  • Usage data — events such as export started / finished / failed / cancelled and share, video duration, app version and platform.
  • Diagnostics — crash and error reports containing the error message, stack trace, device model, OS version and app version.
  • Device identifiers — a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) and, for advertising, the device's Advertising ID.
  • Feedback — anything you send us through the in-app feedback form.

3. How we use it

  • to provide the service: sign-in, subtitle generation, translation, saving your projects;
  • to enforce fair-use limits and prevent abuse;
  • to fix crashes and improve export reliability;
  • to send push notifications (for example, when an export finishes);
  • to show advertising in the free version of the app.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app shows ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google: the device's Advertising ID and other device identifiers, IP address (used to estimate approximate location), app interactions and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. Google may use this data to show personalised ads, subject to your device settings.

You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). We request only ads rated suitable for general audiences. The app is not directed at children under 13.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf:

  • Google (Gemini API) and other speech-to-text / AI providers — the audio you submit is sent to them to be transcribed or translated;
  • Google AdMob — advertising (see section 4);
  • Google Firebase — push notifications;
  • Google and Apple — sign-in;
  • our hosting provider — servers and database;
  • Telegram — crash reports are delivered to our private developer channel.

6. Storage and retention

Uploaded audio is used only to produce the transcription and is deleted from our server after processing. Videos, thumbnails and edited projects are stored locally on your device. Account and usage data are kept while your account exists. Crash reports are kept only as long as needed to fix the problem.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

7. Your choices and rights

  • Delete your account and associated data: in the app open Profile → Delete account, or email us.
  • Access or correct your data: email us and we will respond within 30 days.
  • Turn off push notifications in your device settings.
  • Limit ad personalisation in your device settings (section 4).

8. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version; significant changes will be announced in the app or on this page.

Qisqacha (o'zbekcha)

  • Google yoki Apple orqali kirganingizda ismingiz, emailingiz va profil rasmingizni olamiz.
